Step1Register for an online account
Please register for an online account.
Once registered, you will need to apply as an organisation. The organisation name should be the name of the University you will be attending. Start typing the University name and select it from the list.
You will then be prompted to enter your personal details.
Once your account is set up, you can apply for a grant by clicking Apply at the top of the screen and selecting the Doctoral Fellowship round you require.

Step2Complete the online application form
Please complete and submit the online application form. The deadline is 1 March each year.

Step3Acknowledgement of application
An acknowledgement of your application will be sent through the online application system.

Step4Notification of interview
You will receive notification of the Medical Trustees' decision whether you have been selected for interview or not through the online application system.

Step5Interview
The interviews for the Doctoral Fellowship are usually held in June each year.

Step6Decision
You will be notified of the Medical Trustees' decision shortly after the interviews have taken place through the online application system.
