In addition to the main grants programme, the Fund also operates a programme for small grants and research grants.
We provide small grants (up to a maximum of £5,000) which are considered by the Chair of Trustees ahead of the main meetings in June and December. Applications for small grants are made in the same way as general grants. Please click here for guidelines on applying .
Such grants are usually considered on a monthly basis, or as demand decress, therefore the closing dates for the deadline for applications does not apply
Appeals received which request funding of up to £10,000 will initially be considered under the small grants programme and will be referred to the general grant programme where the recommendation is to award more than the maximum of £5,000 and which therefore requires the ratification of the full Board of Trustees.
The applicant will be notified, in writing, of the outcome of the application.
